San Francisco , CA , United States

The Marina District has sometimes been referred to as "San Francisco's Playground."

Originally the location of the 1915 Pan Pacific Exposition, the Marina District has much to offer. From the range of shops, restaurants and bars on Chestnut Street, the scenic wonders of the Marina Green, Crissy Field and the Presidio, to the attractions of Fort Mason and The Palace Of Fine Arts, there is a variety of activities to offer to everyone. The Golden Gate Bridge National Recreation Area provides trails and bike paths to explore the area.

We hope that you will find out why San Francisco has been voted the #1 city in the US as a vacation destination. Public transportation takes you to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, the Embarcadero, Downtown, Chinatown, North Beach, Golden Gate Park and the rest of San Francisco's best. San Francisco's restaurants alone can keep you very happy.

Amazing Details

This is the perfect flat for any occasion. It has a great location, close to shops, parks, the water, landmarks, etc. There was plenty of parking (assuming you look for it) and the neighborhood felt very safe. Inside the flat you will be wowed with upgraded features and layout of the rooms. So much natural light flows in through the many windows that aren't fully captured in the website's photos. The furniture is modern and clean and very comfortable. The owner did not spare any expense providing everything you could possibly need for any household reason. My only gripe is that flat is so nice that it makes you not want to leave. I earned several brownie points from my girlfriend's family when I rented this flat for their first-SF visit. I am actively trying to organize another visit just so that I can rent this flat again. Can't thank the owners enough for letting us stay.

We Loved This Place!

We loved staying here, the flat had everything we needed and is just beautiful. There is a feeling of high style along with the comfort feel of being in a home, not a hotel. The flat is very spacious with lots of light. Everything was very clean, the beds were great, and the kitchen was more than we could have asked for. The computer in the kitchen was handy to have, and the large sectional in the living was very comfortable. The huge round swivel chair in the living room was great to cuddle up in! The area itself was perfect. We had so much fun going out day and night, and the flat's location made it easy to get around without a car. We used the bikes alot, which we found out saved us a $25 a day per bike rental fee! Just being able to easily walk for our meals when we ate out made it easy. San Francisco itself was just plain fun with so much to do. The owners are very friendly and responsive, and they are wonderful hosts. We highly recommend staying here. We are going to share this spot with all of our friends and family who may plan to visit San Francisco.

A Real Treat

What a nice place! We would likely have loved San Francisco no matter where we stayed, but this home definitely made our stay more enjoyable. We loved the location and how well everything was set up. Each room flows well into the next, and each room works well. The living room is great to lounge in, and easy to entertain in. We had friends over who live in another part of San Francisco, and they could not stop saying how nice the place was and how lucky we were to find it. We had everything we needed. We had so many shops and activities within an easy walk. Playing a round of golf inside the Presidio at Lincoln Park was probably the most scenic public golf course we ever played. Being able to use the two sets of golf clubs at the flat proved to be very convenient. We will stay here again on our next trip to San Francisco.

Great place and location

Our group consisted of two couples. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom, and everything about the flat proved to be quite nice. Everything was easy to find, basic supplies were provided for us, and it was an easy home to live in. There was plenty of room for all of us, and the sunroom in back was an added bonus. We enjoyed the furniture and the layout. The kitchen served us well, with the large granite counter and bar stools becoming a spot to read the local morning paper over coffee and fresh bagels. The location was very good, and we took in all the local spots. We used the bikes a couple of times, which made it much easier for us to get around to alot of places. We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners were very friendly to deal with.

Great Place To Stay

This flat served as a haven for our family of six. The beds were the best we have slept on. All the amenities are there. We loved using the kitchen and hanging out in the living room. The computer nook in the kitchen was useful to have, and we used the big TV in the living room like a computer to go online with the wireless keyboard. Having a dining table large enough for our family was helpful. There is even a washer and dryer in the flat. This is a real find. You can explore the immediate area and have lots of fun. A bike ride to Sausalito and then taking the ferry back proved to a great time. The restaurants around Chestnut Street provided us with great variety and excellent meals. The city has so much to see that we wished we could have stayed another week. The owners have made everything easy for their guests. This is a great place to stay. Nicer than any place we have stayed at before.

Home Away From Home

Our family had a great stay. My husband and our two kids loved how everything was set up. Great style and very comfortable to live in. The kitchen has it all. The kids used the 50" TV to go online and watch Netflix. The bedrooms are very nice, the linens and towels were like staying in a hotel. Of the local sites, we especially enjoyed the Disney museum in the Presidio. We had a new adventure each day simply by going in a different direction than the day before. How fun! I have to also mention that the owners are very friendly and accommodating. We definitely recommend staying here. You will not regret it.

New Year's in San Francisco

What a great way to welcome the New Year! San Francisco is such a great town, we had a blast. We were out every night trying to take in as much of the city as we could. Wow! Having the flat to come back to was a godsend. We loved the beds and the overall design. A nice, large flat that has been furnished to make you feel at home, and a luxurious home at that. Mini shopping runs to Chestnut Street or the Marina Safeway and then coming back to eat or cook the food became a daily ritual. The whole area has so much going on and is so easy to walk around. We love San Francisco, the Marina, and this flat.

Fantastic Experience

We had a wonderful time at the flat and in San Francisco. We found everything we could need, and had a very comfortable stay. The furnishings and finishes are all very well done. The beds were great to sleep in and the kitchen really worked (the Wolf range and the pots and pans were a treat to use). The coffee maker even had an instant hot water tap for my morning tea. There is a lot of natural light which really livens up the flat. It feels very spacious. Both bathrooms were great. The location could not have been better. We walked everywhere and just had a very good time. The shops on Chestnut Street and the walks along the Marina Green were our favorites. We look forward to our next trip back.
